Dr. Lenz is originally from Ohio. She completed her B.S. at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After she received her M.D. degree from the University of South Florida she remained at USF for her pediatric residency and pediatric endocrinology fellowship training. She was appointed as an assistant Professor of Pediatrics at USF before joining Pediatric Endocrine Associates.
Dr. Lenz has received several academic awards during her medical training, volunteered at youth diabetic camps and was invited as a guest speaker at endocrine conferences. Dr. Lenz is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. Dr. Lenz is accepting new endocrine and diabetes patients at the main clinic in Tampa.
