Dr. Dougan is board certified in internal medicine, general pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology. She moved from Chicago, IL to Florida when she was a child. Dr. Dougan received her B.S. from the University of Central Florida and her M.D. from the University of South Florida. She continued her training with U.S.F. in internal medicine and pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology.

She has presented and published her basic research in diabetes at national and regional endocrine and diabetes conferences. She volunteers at the Florida Camp for Children and Youth with Diabetes. Dr. Dougan is interested in general endocrine and diabetes and is accepting new patients at the main Tampa office and serves patients in the Lakeland and Brandon outreach clinics.
